Owner

Plans & Billing

What's the difference between Free and STANDARD?

Free is permanently free for up to 10 employees. STANDARD (KRW 9,900/month, excl. VAT) raises the limit to 50 employees and turns on leave management and unlimited history viewing/downloads. On Free, attendance viewing/downloads are limited to the last 60 days.

Go to screen

How does the first-month free trial work?

Register a card and your first month of STANDARD is fully free. The first charge happens a month later, and if you cancel within the free period you won't be billed. The trial is offered only once.

If a payment fails, is my account suspended right away?

No. It first moves to a grace period of about 7 days, and suspension only happens after the grace period ends. Just re-register a card in the meantime to keep using it.

What happens if I leave it suspended?

After 30 days of suspension the account isn't deleted; it's automatically switched to the Free plan. Employees beyond the Free limit (10) are then deactivated.

When can I get a refund?

Within 7 days of the first charge, and only for the first charge. During the free trial there's no payment, so it doesn't apply.

If I cancel my subscription, does it stop immediately?

You keep attendance and payroll features until the end of the period you already paid for; only the automatic renewal stops. Annual leave management, however, becomes read-only the moment you cancel — registering or adjusting leave and employee leave requests are blocked. You can cancel at any time.

I downgraded but now have more employees than the limit—what happens?

Employees beyond the limit are deactivated automatically. You can choose who to keep in employee management.

Adding employees

What happens if I exceed the employee limit?

Registration is blocked at that point (Free 10, STANDARD 50). Self-registration by employees (including pending approval) is also allowed only up to the limit.

Can I add many employees at once with a spreadsheet?

Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel (XLSX) file at once. Up to 1MB and 200 rows are supported, and the number added per upload is the smaller of your remaining limit or 50.

Go to screen

During bulk upload, what if someone matches an existing employee?

If name and last 4 phone digits match, it's skipped; if it matches a self-registered person awaiting approval, they're auto-approved. If it matches a previously departed employee, a new record is created.

Can I reissue an invite code?

Yes. You can issue a new invite code per employee. Reissuing is safer if a code has leaked. The change is kept in the log.

Go to screen

Do I need to approve employees who register themselves?

Yes. When an employee registers through the store QR, they are placed in pending status and cannot clock in or out until approved. You can approve or reject them from the dashboard notice or the employee list. Managers can approve them too.

How do I set the probation period and probation rate?

Set a probation end date and probation rate per employee; pay uses the probation rate during probation and automatically switches to the regular rate afterward. Set a company default probation period and it's applied automatically when adding new employees. To end probation early, turn off 'Enable probation' on the employee edit screen.

We don't have a store (visits/on-site work) — can we still use it?

Yes. Mark employees as field-work exempt and they can clock in from anywhere on their phone. Note there's no visit logging or route tracking — we cover attendance records and estimated pay calculation.

Will I be notified when I reach 5 employees?

Yes. When your active employee count crosses the 5-person threshold and no longer matches your configured workplace type, we notify you in-app and by email. The workplace type doesn't change automatically, though. Surcharge and annual leave rules differ, so update it yourself in Settings.

QR & Check-in

How often does the company QR code change?

The on-screen QR refreshes every 30 seconds. When you scan, we check that the code is still fresh (issued within the last minute); once that check passes you have 10 minutes to finish the location and identity steps. This prevents someone from screenshotting the QR and reusing it. The printed store QR is separate and does not expire.

Go to screen

What's the difference between the wall QR and the on-screen QR?

The wall QR is the default — print it once and it never expires. The on-screen QR changes every 30 seconds for security, so use it if you're worried about buddy punching via shared photos. Both are available right on the QR page.

Go to screen

Can I set up a tablet in my store as a check-in screen?

Yes. On the QR page, turn on 'Set this device as store screen' and that device becomes a dedicated check-in screen. A spare tablet is enough. The moment you turn it on, your owner account logs out on that device — so use a store device, not your personal phone. To disconnect them all at once, tap 'Log out all store screens' on the QR page.

Go to screen

How do I print the QR?

Tap the print button on the QR page to get a ready-to-post printout with instructions in 8 languages. You can also save it as an image and share it. We recommend posting it somewhere employees see easily, like next to the register or by the entrance.

Payroll

When does overtime pay apply?

A premium applies to hours over 8 per day and over 40 per week. However, workplaces with fewer than 5 regular employees are exempt from the overtime premium by law.

How are night and holiday allowances calculated?

A premium applies to night work (22:00–06:00) and holiday work (0.5x each by default). Workplaces under 5 employees are exempt. You can change the multipliers in company settings. In other words, holiday work pays 1.5x the regular hourly wage (base pay + 0.5x premium). You can choose which days count as holidays in Settings > Holiday Management.

Are break times deducted automatically?

Yes. If you don't enter break time, it's deducted automatically based on hours worked (60 min for 8+ hours, 30 min for 4+ hours). If it differs from reality, the employee can submit a correction request.

How is work-time rounding handled?

Work time is counted minute by minute with no truncation or rounding. Only amounts are settled to whole currency units per item, then summed.

If an employee forgets to clock out, how is pay handled?

The system closes it automatically: by the scheduled end time if a schedule exists, or estimated at 9 hours otherwise. Such records are marked 'auto-closed (estimated),' so please verify the actual time. The maximum work hours used here default to 9 and can be changed in Settings to anywhere from 1 to 24 hours.

The payroll screen shows an 'unclosed attendance records' warning.

It means records still open without a check-out remain within the payroll calculation range. Auto-close usually handles them, but they can remain when a correction request is in progress, for example. Click the link in the warning to see only the unclosed records, and clean them up before finalizing payroll.

How is the ordinary wage (for leave pay, etc.) calculated?

If the owner entered an ordinary wage, that value is used; otherwise it's the hourly rate × average contractual hours per day.

What is the weekly holiday allowance, and why is it added to pay?

It's a legal allowance in Korea: an employee scheduled for 15+ hours a week (averaged over 4 weeks) who shows up on every scheduled day that week earns one extra day's pay. Days on approved leave are not counted as absences. It applies even to businesses with fewer than 5 employees. The app calculates it once the week ends, so the current week may show 0.

Annual leave

On what basis is annual leave granted?

Under 1 year of service: 1 day per month of perfect attendance (up to 11 days). At 1 year: 15 days at once, plus 1 more day every 2 years from the 3rd year (max 25). The app currently checks neither attendance rate nor perfect attendance: employees with 1+ year receive 15 days, and those under 1 year receive one day per month worked. If someone falls below 80% attendance or has any absence in a month, the owner should adjust it manually.

What's the difference between fiscal-year and hire-date basis?

The default is hire-date basis. Switching to fiscal-year basis (beta) grants everyone's leave on a separate schedule aligned to the company's fiscal-year start date. This mode requires setting a fiscal-year start date.

Go to screen

What happens to unused leave?

Unused leave expires one year after it was granted. Expired leave is converted into an unused-leave allowance and added to that month's pay. If you'd rather carry leave into next year, switch leave settings to 'Carryover allowed' and enter the days to carry over in leave history management.

How does the leave-use promotion system work?

With usage promotion on, you get a notice 6 and 10 months after leave is granted. If you mark leave as exempt from compensation, it is excluded from the expiry payout. Only the owner account can apply this — managers and connected experts cannot.

Go to screen

Is leave granted automatically for workplaces under 5 employees?

Not by default (not a legal requirement). The owner can turn it on, in which case the owner is responsible for operating it. The owner's own leave is also not granted by default.

Go to screen

Are half-days supported?

Yes. When requesting, employees can pick an AM or PM half-day, which deducts 0.5 days of annual leave. Quarter-days (0.25) are not supported.

How are weekly holiday pay and absences handled for an employee on leave of absence?

Register the leave of absence in the employee's leave management page, and the period won't count as absence. If a whole week is on leave, no weekly holiday pay accrues for that week; if only part of the week, perfect attendance is judged on the remaining working days. During the leave, new check-ins are blocked, and annual leave requests overlapping the period are blocked too.

Data & Account

How long are attendance records kept?

Five years on all plans. Free limits viewing/downloads to the last 60 days, but the data itself is kept safely for 5 years.

If I delete my owner account, what happens to company data?

After confirming the company name and downloading a backup, the company, employees, attendance, and leave records are all permanently deleted. It can't be undone, so be sure to download a backup.

Go to screen

Are inactive companies or departed employees' data deleted automatically?

Yes, per data-protection law. Companies with no activity or payment for 5 years are deleted automatically, and personal data of employees who left over 5 years ago is anonymized automatically.

Can leave be managed while suspended or canceled?

Owners can register/adjust leave only while in good standing. In grace status only employee requests proceed; while suspended or canceled, only viewing is possible.

Compliance Checks

A labor-standards check warning appeared on my dashboard. What should I do?

We automatically check signals like exceeding 52 weekly hours, sub-minimum wage, insufficient breaks, and neglected unclosed records. You can jump to the screen to fix it from the warning, and once resolved, the warning clears on the next check. It's not a legal judgment — consult a professional when unsure.

Employee

Check-in

Do I need to install an app?

No. Scan the QR with your phone camera and the check-in screen opens right in the browser. Nothing to install.

Do I press clock-in and clock-out separately?

No. Scanning the same QR lets the system work out whether it is a clock-in or a clock-out. One exception: if more than 5 minutes have passed since you clocked in, scanning again asks you to confirm the clock-out. This keeps an accidental double scan from cutting your hours short. Note that employees marked as resigned can no longer check in — contact your owner or manager if this happens.

If I just scanned and scan again, is it counted twice?

No. If you scan again within 5 minutes of clocking in, the scan is ignored. If you clock out and scan again to clock in, scans within 1 minute are ignored. After 5 minutes, scanning again asks you to confirm whether you mean to clock out.

Location (GPS)

Do I have to turn on location permission?

If your workplace has GPS check-in turned on, you cannot check in without location data. If it is off, you can check in without it. For staff who work away from the site — field, on-site, or delivery work — the owner can exempt them from the location check individually. Owners can turn this on or off in Settings > GPS Verification and set the allowed radius between 50m and 1,000m.

Can't I check in if I'm far from the store?

If you're outside the radius the company set (200m by default; the company can set 50–1000m), check-in is rejected and your current distance is shown.

What if I deny location permission?

If the company enabled GPS, check-in is blocked. For a temporary error, the app retries getting your location up to 3 times.

I work in the field a lot — how does location verification work?

If the owner marks you as field-work exempt, you check in without location verification. Before that, check-ins only work within the workplace radius.

Self-registration & Approval

Can I register myself without an invitation?

If the company allows it, scan the store QR and enter your name and the last 4 digits of your phone to register right away.

Why do I enter the last 4 phone digits?

It's for identity verification. Even if an invite code or link leaks, a different last 4 digits prevents someone from clocking in as you.

Can I clock in right after registering, or do I wait for approval?

It depends on company settings. If approval is required, you can't check in until the owner approves you.

What if a coworker with the same name already exists?

If both the name and the last 4 digits match, we ask you to confirm it is really you. If the name matches but the last 4 digits differ, we still ask you to confirm it is a different person before registering you as a new employee. You are not registered straight away.

What if I keep entering the code wrong?

More than 10 tries in 10 minutes for one code triggers a temporary block. Try again shortly.

Languages

I'm a foreign worker—can I view it in my language?

We support 8 languages (Korean, English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, Russian). It first opens in the language of the QR the owner made, and once you verify via an invite link, your language is saved and shown afterward.

Attendance status

How are late arrival and early leave recorded?

The app does not judge late arrival or early leave automatically. Only values your employer enters directly on the attendance screen are shown.

How is absence recorded?

There's no separate absence button, and the app does not calculate absence automatically. A day with no attendance record simply stays without a record.

Break time was deducted even though I couldn't rest.

Break is deducted automatically based on hours worked (60 min for 8+ hours, 30 min for 4+ hours). If it differs from reality, submit a correction request to fix it.

What happens if I don't clock out?

The system auto-closes by the scheduled end time or a 9-hour estimate and adds an 'estimated' mark. If the time is wrong, submit a correction request.

My info & Pay

Can I fix a mis-recorded entry?

You can't edit directly, but you can send a correction request (edit time, add a missing clock-out, add a missing day). It's applied once the owner/manager approves. You can only request for your own records.

Go to screen

Can I see my own expected pay directly?

If the company hasn't disabled it, you can see your monthly expected pay. It's a pre-tax estimate for reference and may differ from your actual payment. Companies on Free can see only the last 60 days. Details like the hourly rate aren't shown.

Go to screen

Can I no longer see my payslip after leaving?

If you are still signed in on the device you used before leaving, you can still view your payslips after resignation (your right to request a wage statement). Once that sign-in expires, however, you cannot get back in with an invite code. In that case, ask your employer for the payslip.

When is my personal data deleted after I leave?

Five years after your departure date, personal data like your name and phone number is automatically anonymized (destroyed after the legally required retention period).

Can I check in if the company is suspended?

No. If the company is suspended, check-in and registration are both blocked.

Expert (tax/labor)

Invitation & Linking

How does an owner invite me?

There are two ways: email invite and link invite (both expire after 30 days). An owner can send up to 3 invites per day.

Can I accept an email invite link addressed to someone else?

Email invites are blocked if the invited email differs from your signed-in account (to prevent link leaks). A link invite is a type anyone can accept.

What permission do I get linked with when I accept?

You're linked with the permission specified in the invite (attendance only / payroll / full). If none is specified, you start with the most limited 'attendance viewing.'

Verification

What are the verification stages?

Unverified → (upload license) Pending → (admin approval) Verified, or Failed if rejected.

What happens when I upload my license?

It moves to Pending status and a review request is sent to the administrator.

Can I view assigned companies while verification is pending?

Yes. If the owner invites and links you, you can view even before verification. However, inviting an owner yourself is only possible after you're verified.

If my credential is revoked later, what happens to linked companies?

After a 14-day read-only grace period, the link is removed.

Access & Viewing

Can I manage several companies at once? Do permissions differ per company?

Yes. All linked companies appear in your list, and permissions are granted per company.

Go to screen

What can I do at each permission level?

'Attendance' is attendance viewing only; 'Payroll'/'Full' add payroll and leave viewing plus downloads. All access is logged.

How many months back can I view?

Experts don't have the viewing-period limit that applies to owners, so you can view long-term.

Download & Display

Under what conditions can I download payroll files (Excel)?

If you have download permission (Payroll/Full) and aren't in the unlink grace period, you can download. During the grace period viewing works but downloads are blocked.

What is the 'auto-closed' mark on attendance/payroll screens?

Records the system auto-closed get an 'auto-closed' badge. It's a prompt to verify the actual working time.

Is the expert portal multilingual?

The expert screens are currently provided mainly in Korean.

How do I choose my credential type (labor/tax)?

You can choose tax advisor, labor attorney, or both, and credential-verification guidance is provided for each type.
